Can you design without building — or do you only work as a full team?

Both. We offer design-only engagements where we deliver Figma files, prototypes, and design systems for your internal engineering team to implement. We also work as a full product team — design + development together. Most clients get better results with the combined model because it eliminates the handoff gap, but design-only is available if you already have engineers.

How long does a typical design engagement take?

Accepted Answer

A focused UX audit and redesign of an existing product takes 3–5 weeks. A full product design from scratch — research, wireframes, UI design, and a design system — takes 4–8 weeks depending on screen count and complexity. Brand identity projects take 3–4 weeks. Ongoing design support runs as a monthly retainer with a dedicated designer embedded in your team.

Do you do user research or just visual design?

We do both. For new products, we start with user research — personas, journey maps, and competitive analysis — before any visual design begins. For redesign projects, we run UX audits using analytics data, session recordings, and usability heuristics to identify problems before proposing solutions. Visual design without understanding users is guesswork.

What do we get as deliverables?

Depending on the engagement: a complete Figma file with organized screens, a component-based design system with tokens and documentation, interactive prototypes for user testing, brand guidelines (logo, colors, typography, usage rules), and developer handoff specs. Everything is structured for your team to maintain and extend independently.

Can you redesign our product incrementally while it's live?

Yes — and we recommend it over big-bang redesigns. We audit the existing product, prioritize the highest-impact screens and flows, and redesign them in phases that align with your engineering sprint cycle. Users experience gradual improvement instead of a jarring overnight change, and you can measure the impact of each phase before committing to the next.
