Most MVPs take 10–14 weeks from kickoff to launch. The first 1–2 weeks are discovery and design, followed by 8–12 weeks of development in 2-week sprints. Timeline depends primarily on feature count and the number of third-party integrations. We define the exact timeline during the scoping phase before any commitment.

Two paths. If you want PettersonApps to continue, we shift to a dedicated team model for ongoing product development — adding features, optimizing performance, and scaling infrastructure. If you want to bring development in-house, we do a structured handoff: documented codebase, architecture walkthrough, and a transition period where your team ramps up alongside ours.

We have in-house UI/UX designers. For MVP engagements, design and development run in parallel — wireframes and high-fidelity Figma screens are produced during the discovery phase and refined throughout development. If you already have designs or a brand guide, we work from those directly.

Yes, but we usually recommend against it for a first version. Launching on one platform first lets you validate faster, spend less, and learn what users actually need before building the second version. If both platforms are essential for your business model (e.g., a marketplace with a web dashboard and a mobile consumer app), we scope them together with shared backend and parallel development tracks.
